Alexandrine Ananou

Alexandrine (Alex) has experience of acting in multi-jurisdictional patent litigation relating to a broad range of technologies such as pharmaceuticals, medical devices, energy, aeronautics and telecommunications. She has also advised clients in copyright, industrial designs and trademarks law.

Before joining EIP, Alex worked for a Magic Circle firm in Paris where she focused her practice on cross-border pharmaceutical patent litigation and French and European regulatory law. Prior to that she was an IP Associate at a top boutique IP law firm and then in-house at a top international insurance company.

Alex has a degree in Epidemiology and Biostatistics from Cambridge University and an LL.M from UC Berkeley. She has been published in a scientific peer-reviewed journal and the legal press. She also lectures in intellectual property at business schools and has spoken at international conferences on pharmaco-epidemiology.
