Alex Crick

Alex joined EIP having completed a PhD in Biophysics at the University of Cambridge.

During his PhD Alex studied the malarial invasion of human red blood cells, which involved developing new automated imaging platforms to be used for testing the effects of novel drug therapies and genetic variations at the single cell level. His research was featured in peer-reviewed publications, international conferences, and print and online media. Following his PhD, Alex was awarded an EPSRC doctoral prize to continue his research for a further six months.

Alex also holds a first class MPhys degree in Physics from the University of York.
