Simon’s practice covers a broad range of subject matter including electronics, telecommunications, semiconductor manufacture, mechanical systems and computer software. He has drafted patent applications relating to areas such as electromechanical devices, navigation systems, signal processing, printing technologies, smart cards, telecommunications systems and automotive mechanics.
He joined EIP after five years at a London-based firm of Patent Attorneys. He has a breadth of experience in patent matters, handling patent portfolios on behalf of clients worldwide as well as infringement and validity analysis of competitor patents. Simon has worked with a range of clients from large multinational companies, through SMEs and start-ups.
Simon holds an MA from the University of Cambridge in Natural Sciences (Theoretical Physics) and Management Studies, and a Certificate in Intellectual Property Law from London's Queen Mary College.
