Patrick Scott

Associate, Patent Scientist
London, EIP Europe LLP

Patrick joined EIP having worked as a researcher at the Large Hadron Collider at CERN in Geneva, Switzerland, during his PhD in particle physics at the University of Birmingham. At CERN Patrick studied the production of quark-gluon plasma, the state of the universe around a microsecond after the Big Bang. In particular, his research involved studying the behaviour of particles moving through such a plasma.

In addition to his PhD, Patrick holds a first class MSci degree in physics from the University of Birmingham.
